Jennifer & John Simmons, 07-26-03
Jennifer and John Simmons were married at Central United Methodist Church. Jennifer is an exceptionally talented, award-winning seamstress and designer, and she is very creative and detail-oriented! She said that for her wedding, the wedding rings were "definitely key to the designs on the dress, cake, and other decor."
For Jennifer's ring, we set a beautiful diamond on a band with a scroll pattern to it. Her ring looks very similar to the ring shown above. Jennifer and John's wedding bands both had the same simple but graceful scroll pattern in the center.
Jennifer also had a wedding necklace from Underwood's. Giving your spouse a "wedding day gift" is a really sweet tradition. Jewelry makes an idea wedding gift, because the recipient can have another piece of jewelry that they can wear every day! Many gifts can also be engraved or personalized, just like wedding rings.
Jennifer said that if she had her wedding to do over, she would take more time to plan and to research reviews of businesses more and would spend more time on the Internet to find ideas and businesses. During the original planning process, she relied mainly on word of mouth. She said that neither her flowers or cake "worked out as I had specified, but I had gone with my ideas as opposed to pictures they had of previous jobs."
