Leslie Roberts & Andrew Freedberg Part 3

After the ceremony, the guests entered the reception space.  The table settings were simple, with the most gorgeous rustic flower arrangements.

Leslie and Andrew's cake was sweet and simple, and it featured bands of honeycombs as a nod to Leslie's beekeeper grandfather.

Guests signed a fall tree as a keepsake for the couple.

The menu was farm-to-table in keeping with Blue Hill's philosophy.

Finally it was time to let loose!

The "photobooth" candid shots from this reception are some of the best we've ever seen!

Anectdotally Yours put together this fantastic video showing the store of Leslie and Andrew's wedding.  It really makes the planning/preparation process and the details come to life:

We'd like to extend a huge thank-you to Leslie and Andrew for letting us share their wedding story!  Happy almost-1st anniversary to one of the sweetest, happiest couples we know!

Leslie Roberts & Andrew Freedberg Part 2

Blue Hill at Stone Barns opened in 2004 within the Stone Barns Center For Food and Agriculture in Pocantico Hills, New York.  The farm is located just 30 minutes away from New York City, but you would never know it looking at the stunning pastoral setting!

In addition to feeding guests at farm events, the farm grows food for the original Blue Hill Restaurant in NYC and also Blue Hill Cafe.

Leslie, Andrew, Zooey & Abby posed for pictures.

The ceremony took place outdoors in a beautiful field.

The ceremony space was simple but perfect, with every little detail attended to.

The beautiful bride made her way down the aisle.

Leslie and Andrew recited their vows just as evening fell.  Leslie notes that at one point during the ceremony, she and Andrew had the opportunity to stop, turn around and enjoy the actual moment of their wedding and all the love from family and friends that surrounded them.

Once they were officially husband and wife, there was nothing left to do but celebrate!  Part 3 will let you see the fantastic party that follows.

Leslie Roberts & Andrew Freedberg Part 1

Here's the first installment of a gorgeous wedding in New York that took place October 2, 2011.  The bride, Leslie, grew up spending summers on a farm in Arkansas with her grandparents; her groom, Andrew, is a native New Yorker.  To keep the wedding true to Leslie's home state of Arkansas and the farm and also Andrew's NYC heritage, they chose to marry at Blue Hill at Stone Barns in New York with the theme of "Country Girl Meets City Boy."

Leslie got ready at The Standard in NYC.

Every bride deserves the royal treatment on her wedding day.

What a beautiful skyline!  Leslie made the most of it by relaxing in the calm of her hotel room while the world hustled and bustled below.

So many beautiful embellishments and details.  The beading on Leslie's dress and shoes and the texture of her brooch bouquet are gorgeous!

Abby and Zoey were two of Leslie's star helpers and attendants.

Leslie says that her favorite memory of the planning process was choosing her Underwood's diamond with Andrew.  Before they decided on a ring setting, they chose their diamond with Cindy.  Cindy showed them a number of different diamonds.  Once Leslie and Andrew saw one particular stone, they were mesmerized -- and they just *knew* it was *their* diamond!  They chose an engagement ring setting to compliment that particular stone.

The gorgeous bride.

Ready to hit the road...

... and she's definitely traveling in style.

Goodbye to the city.... we'll be in the country on the farm next post!

Jessica & Levi Rush's Wedding

 Jessice & Levi Rush, 05-29-11
Jessica and Levi celebrated their marriage with a destination wedding in Santa Fe and a reception back home in Fayetteville.
Jessica says that Underwood's made her wedding special by engraving her      wedding band and the band she gave to Levi.

Santa Fe, New Mexcio, has always been a very special place to Levi and his family, so when Jessica and Levi planned their wedding, they chose Santa Fe for an intimate wedding ceremony.  Jessica's mother helped her coordinate both the out-of-town ceremony and the big reception back home in Fayetteville.
Look for vendors and wedding advice after the photos!

For Jessica and Levi, location was the number one priority, followed by their wedding rings, band, photography, dress and attire, food, decor, and flowers.  The wedding colors were turquoise and orange, in honor of Santa Fe (which are popular colors now a year later!).   For the destination wedding in Santa Fe, Jessica and Levi kept things simple with a ceremony for family only.  They relied on the beauty of the chapel and the scenery and did not use elaborate flowers or decorations.
For the reception back home in Fayetteville, they made the decor more personal.  Jessica's mother is a potter, and she and her friends made the vases for the reception back home in Fayetteville, and Jessica and Levi played the video of their wedding in Santa Fe for all of their guests.  Happy first anniversary!
